Easy And Healthy Pomegranate Parfait

Hello friends.  I have been hard at work creating a few healthy recipes. Especially ones that are tasty and easy to assemble.  For our family, breakfast is definitely one of those meals that needs to be quick.  Mornings are just too rushed in our home so grabbing something that is effortless for breakfast is always key... 

A fruit and yogurt breakfast parfait is easy and enjoyable when you are craving something filling and healthy.  My delicious Pomegranate Parfait is perfect for those days when you are in a rush.  It is FAST and full of wonderful flavors that are good for you. This yummy parfait can also work as a snack or light dessert!! Besides, it looks so pretty in the glass jars....



Creamy Greek yogurt is mixed with honey and vanilla extract, then layered with granola and pomegranate seeds in a glass jar.   The combination is fantastic!!!










RECIPE

Ingredients


  • 1 container Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup granola
  • 1 spoon honey
  • 1 teapoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds



Directions



  1. Step One: In a small dish or bowl mix yogurt, honey and vanilla.  

  2. Step Two:  In a large glass, spoon granola to cover bottom of jar, spoon in yogurt mix then add pomegranate seeds. Repeat layers.  Be sure to finish with the pomegranate seeds on top.
